Strict but nice at same teacher 1977

Really sad and shocked to hear news of our greatest pe teacher, even though myself and a school mate got the slipper off him, which was legal at the time, didt hurt really lol, and laughed about it afterwards.
Me and a mate had sick notes from playing football that day, and he said he seen us kicking bits of grass near goal post, and thought we were fit enoughht to work lol.
Even after that, always gave me great school reports, great teacher, just loved football, just wished he didnt put me in goal all time, it was feezing in the 70s just stood there lol.
Kindest regards to his family.
